This job was at a house in Dernancourt. The homeowner had a really nice outdoor entertaining area with built in seating and steps but once the sun went down the space was quite dark. They wanted subtle LED strip lighting added so the area would be easier to use at night and a bit safer to walk around.

We installed aluminium extrusion underneath the existing outdoor seating and steps so the LED strip lighting could sit neatly out of sight and wash light across the deck. The only tricky part was getting the cables through the existing structure without disturbing the finished deck and seating, but with a bit of careful routing we were able to keep everything completely hidden.

Once finished the steps and seating now have a soft glow at night which makes the area safer to move around and gives the whole entertaining space a really nice look after dark. It is a simple upgrade but it makes a big difference to how the space is used.
